We think that Mental Health week this year is a great time to celebrate those wonderful acts of kindness, especially from younger people. Whatever your age though, you’re invited to create a video clip which we will use to make a short film about kindness. Just follow the instructions and we’ll do the rest:
Think about your answers to the following questions:
- What do you think kindness is?
- Tell us about an act of kindness you have done!
- How did it make you feel?
Make sure your answers are not too long. Anything up to two minutes will be fine but shorter clips are great too.
Practice your answers and make a video. Get someone to help if needed. A mobile phone or tablet video is fine. If you have made something or have a photo you can share about your act of kindness, we would love to see it. Make sure you ask permission if the photo is of another person. We will need to receive your video by 12 noon, Tuesday 12 May, to be included in the film.
We will need a completed consent form to use your video so make sure you get permission to take part. We will send this to you once you have sent your video. We may not be able to use all the clips for our film, but we will make sure your message is on our webpage. We have some £20 gift vouchers for the best entries and certificates for all those that take part.
