We were delighted to host our third Health and Wellbeing event, this time at Hemlington Lake and Recreation Centre. These events are all about bringing people together and connecting residents with services that can make a real difference in their lives.

For this event, we focused on inviting organisations that we felt would be especially helpful to the Hemlington community. One of the highlights was welcoming Teesvalley Together, who run a fantastic Eco Shop offering affordable essentials.

To show just how far a little can go, Teesvalley Together brought along an example of what just £2 can get you at their shop — a generous selection of everyday items that help stretch household budgets. We also purchased a number of vouchers to hand out to residents, giving them the chance to experience the Eco Shop for themselves.

It was a great day filled with meaningful conversations, practical support, and a shared sense of community. We’re proud to continue building these connections and look forward to the next event.
