You and Your General Practice (YYGP)

You and Your General Practice (YYGP) describes what practices and patients can expect of each other and has been developed to help patients get the best from their GP team.

Your Voice Matters: How to Share Feedback About Your GP Practice

From 1st October 2025, all GP practices will include a direct link to YYGP (Your Voice, Your GP Practice) on their home page, making it easier than ever for patients and their representatives to share feedback or raise concerns.

YYGP sets out clear guidance on how you can:

  • Provide feedback about your experience
  • Raise concerns or complaints
  • Access support in doing so

🗣️ How to Give Feedback or Raise a Concern

If you’d like to share your thoughts or raise an issue, you have several options:

  1. Speak to your Practice Manager
You can ask to speak directly with your practice manager, who will listen and help address your concerns.
  2. Contact Your Local Healthwatch
Healthwatch is an independent champion for people who use health and social care services. They can support you in sharing your feedback.
  3. Submit Feedback Online
You can also leave your feedback with the ICB (Integrated Care Board) using this secure online form: Click here
