Volunteering

There are lots of ways you can become invoved in Healthwatch Middlesbrough:

As a member:

  • You can help us circulate information about Healthwatch to your network and local community.
  • You can get involved by giving us your individual views about health and social care services.
  • You can join other people in working together to influence the way services are designed and provided by participating in community consultations and forums on specific issues.

You can do this by completing either an organisation/ group membership form or an individual membership form.

As a Volunteer:

We really value our volunteers and are committed to supporting you in your role.  All volunteers are given good quality training, support & development from Community Development Workers as well as expenses.

Enter and View Volunteers

Healthwatch has the right to Enter and View health and social care services in order to get a picture of how local services are delivered.  This does not include services for people under 18.

We are in the process of developing our Enter and View team and are looking for volunteers who would like to train to carry out Enter and View visits.  Enter and View Volunteers will need to undergo training and obtain a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service).
