Changes to Urgent Care services in Middlesbrough

South Tees CCG has responded to local demand with a series of hubs offering services outside of working hours, including on Bank Holidays. From 1 April 2017, four GP centres will be open from 6pm to 9.30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 9.30pm on weekends and Bank Holidays, offering an extra 90,000 appointments per year. They will be based at:

 North Ormesby Health Village;

 One Life Centre, Linthorpe;

 Redcar Primary Care Hospital;

 East Cleveland Hospital, Brotton.

The centres will replace Walk in Centres at North Ormesby (part of Resolution Health Centre) and Eston Grange, which will close on 31 March 2017. The GP practice at Resolution Health Centre will remain open for registered patients.

More information can be found in the PDF attached, but don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any queries or need further support.

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) 2018

Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Durham and Tees are working together to deliver an enhanced IAPT service that it is consistent and equitable across the region with a single point of access.  This will mean changing the way that the service is delivered currently, and they are at the stage where they would like to gain views on the proposed model from past and current services users.
